John D. Mowry, M.D. has been in private practice at Associated Ear, Nose & Throat of Tulsa, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1982.
Dr. Mowry attended the University of Nebraska college of Medicine where a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree was awarded in 1977. Additional training included a surgical internship at the University of Nebraska (1977-78) and an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio from 1978-1982
During the past 29 years, Dr. Mowry has held numerous positions in local hospitals. He has also served as President of the Oklahoma Academy of Otolaryngology and President of the Tulsa Surgical Society. In addition to private practice responsibilities, he has instructed residents and medical students as a Clinical Assistant at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He has also instructed residents of the In His Image Family Practice Residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Dr. Mowry is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has lectured to numerous local regional medical meetings.
Dr. Mowry and his wife Kathleen reside in Tulsa. His daughter Jill has a PHD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. His daughter Anne is a Nurse Practitioner in Houston, Texas. Dr. Mowry's hobbies include golfing, fishing, reading, and gardening.
